Novo Cucina offers the Atlanta area’s only gelato artigianale – handcrafted gelati and sorbetti made from scratch daily with fresh, wholesome milk and cream. Novo’s creative gelato program, directed by gelataia Meridith Ford, combines the rich tradition of Italian gelato making with inventive American flavors, from fresh fruits to showcase the seasons to fun flavors (like Banana Pudding, seasonal Cheesecake and Thin Mint) that appeal to the kid in everyone. More traditional Italian offerings, like Stracciatella and Pistachio, are always on hand. The gelato case – or pozetto – at Novo Cucina offers 18 flavors daily; Novo also supplies the eight flavors of gelato and sorbetto for owner Riccardo Ullio’s Inman Park favorite, Fritti.
